Face to Face With Dad
We always think that our parents seem to nag and complain about everything we do. Parents are not our enemies:/they lose their confidence in us when we keep repeating the same mistake regardless of their warnings, and we would never understand them until what they are afraid of actually happens.

Last week Monday, I had a big argument with my father. He told me to go to bed early because I hardly slept during the weekend, but I didn't listen to him. I told him to stop treating me like a baby, but instead of keeping a normal voice, I shouted. It seemed that he was upset about it, and I didn't tell him I was sorry about my tone of voice. My father kept calm and told me to go to my room at once, or he wouldn't allow me to go out for a whole month. I accused اتهم him of being the worst father in the world and quickly ran upstairs. I slammed the door shut so hard that the window in my bedroom broke. Of course I had to clean the mess myself .

That night, I slept in a very cold room because my father refused to fix the window instantly. I was very worried about my punishment, but fortunately, my father thought I had been punished enough.

After everything was over, I came to the fact that when parents force their children to do or not to do things, it is often, if not always, for their sake. I learned a lesson which I will never forget. I learned that parents' advice hould be taker into consideration. However, when we don't agree with them, we have to find a middle course which might solve the problem among us peacefully and tactfully.
