An important consideration in any project is the assignment of the right resources to the right tasks. The Responsibility Assignment Matrix is a document that helps with task assignments. Some tasks may be assigned to external suppliers, other departments with the organization, roles such as project management and quality control, or specific individuals. The important thing is to list all of the critical tasks and have someone assigned to “make it happen.”
