Take baking soda and wrap it in a paper towel. Take the paper towel and place it in a water bottle, then add vinegar and get ready for the reaction to occur. Design a 5-10 minute presentation showing your experiment and the results of your experiment. Include your observations of what happened and an explanation for why you think it happened. Not all experiments always work. If your experiment fails, postulate as to what might have caused the issue. You will not be graded on it working, more on that you set it up correctly and make observations. Include a detailed description of the properties of each reactant and product as well as a balanced chemical reaction for this process.
