Timeline - Civil Rights Movement
Directions:
•Each student will create a timeline of the Civil Rights Movement.
• At the top, label this assignment Civil Rights Movement Timeline.
• Timelines should have 10 dates & events that took place during this period. Events need to be within the dates of 1945-1990. You are allowed creative freedom to choose what events you want on your timeline.
• Events need to be listed in chronological order (first to last).
• Each item on the timeline should have a brief description of the event, the date of the event, and a colored illustration to accompany the event.
• Keep it school appropriate!
