The question just asked what time the student got to that point, but the solution goes into arc length and how far the student traveled on the carousel. They didn't even ask that.
Also, the solution uses Distance Formula, Law of Cosines and Inverse Cosine, which students do not know about in this chapter. Those are covered in Chapter 8 & 9.
It is supposed to be using the 30-60-90 triangle values to quickly figure out that it is 30 degrees. It would be great if the solution was updated to the solution covered in 7.3. Thank you!!
