One day a crow got a loaf of bread. He picked it up
and flew to a nearby tree. He was about to
eat it.
A fox came there. He saw the crow. He was hungry.
He wished to get the bread. He hit upon a plan. He went
near the tree and sat under it.
The fox said to the crow. "What a nice bird you are!
You must have a sweet voice. Please sing a song"
The crow was puffed up by the praise. He opened
his mouth to sing. Lo! the bread fell on the ground. The
fox was pleased to pick it up.
The fox said. "Thank you, Mr. crow! Your song is
sweet but the bread is sweeter than it." Then he left
the place with the bread.
