The sentence below describes the movement of a cyclist during his 21 seconds morning practice in the school. The cyclist started from the rest (house) and cycle 20 meters north for 4 seconds at an increasing velocity of 2.5m/s every second. He then rested for 5 seconds, and then he changes his direction and cycle another 55 meters south for 5 seconds at an increasing velocity of 4m/s every seconds. After reaching the 55 meters distance, he then turn around and cycle at a constant velocity home for the last remaining 7 seconds. (a). Use the information above and draw a DISPLACEMENT V'S TIME GRAPH for the cyclist motion. (b). Calculate the average velocity of the whole journey . (c). Calculate the displacement between t = 0 and t = 16 seconds. (d). Calculate the average velocity between t = 0 and t = 16 seconds. (e). Calculate the distance between t = 0 and t = 17 seconds.
