Client states, "My husband has the flu and I don't want to get it. My throat feels a little itchy, but other than that, I feel fine." Live attenuated influenza vaccine administered intranasally and tolerated well. Client education provided. A client with a history of Guillain-Barré syndrome, pneumonia, and hypertension presents to the clinic. What assessment information was overlooked that should have prevented the client from getting the vaccine?
