During the financial year, the business purchased 12 250 metres of
fabric for the manufacture of suits: R5 512 500. This was secured in the
storeroom.
ï‚· Fabric was issued to the factory to meet the production target of 3 000
suits, as follows: 3,2 metres of fabric and an allowance of 5% thereof for
wastage required to manufacture one suit.
