This disorder is caused by an injury or abnormality in the motor region of the brain. Depending on which area or areas of the brain have been injured, symptoms include one or more of the following: involuntary movements, poor coordination and posture, muscle weakness, difficulty or inability to walk, and difficulty or inability to speak.
