Singer says he is worried about the ethical implications of making “mistakes” with robots, but he also notes a scientist who says, “There’s no real social, ethical, moral issues when it comes to robots. That is, unless the machine kills the wrong people repeatedly. Then it’s just a product recall issue.” What do you think the ethical responsibility is when a mistake or malfunction related to robotics or drone warfare results in civilian casualties?
