Essays should be about 1-2 pages (500 to 700 words,) about two pages, double-spaced. They may not be more than two pages. APA style is required for writing and citations. You do not need a cover page, but you may use one.
All essays should be written as a “position paper,” you take a position on the issue raised, and defend it with examples, detail, personal experiences and specific references from lectures, class readings, and published books and research papers. I want to hear your ideas, but I want you to support your ideas with details, examples, life experience and citations. If something has been raised in the lecture or the textbooks that you disagree with, then point that out and give details about why you disagree.
