On-call psychiatrist was called in to emergency department to treat a 23-year-ol female with severe panic attack. Patient also has a history of bipolar disorder. E/M service (which included a detailed history, a detailed examination, and moderate-complexity MDM) led to a clinical diagnosis of: bipolar disorder wit current moderate manic episode; panic attack.
