Stimulation of the adrenergic receptors results in:
A. Increased contraction of blood vessel smooth muscle, producing vasoconstriction (stimulation of alpha 1 receptors).
B. Increased force of contraction of the heart and increased heart rate (stimulation of Beta 1 receptors).
C. Relaxation of smooth muscle in bronchioles and in bladder wall (Beta 2 receptors) resulting in opening of airway and increased filling of bladder.
D. Relaxation of renal vascular smooth muscle (dopamine 1 receptors) resulting in improved blood flow to kidney.
E. Constriction of the pupil, or miosis.
F. Dilation of the pupil, or mydriasis.
