should the United States be involved in eradicating Guinea Worm Disease from Earth? It is clear that the US foots the bill for most of this work, even though this disease does not even occur in the US. In addition, if we destroy all of the Guinea worms, then that's one more species that we've caused the extinction of, and clearly this affect Earth's biodiversity.
