They organize the people that agree with their interests and they use the march or any form of public demonstration as a way of influencing the policy makers.
Engagement with elections: Interests groups sometimes give their full support to a candidate that will advocate for the group's objectives. They make fundraising events for the candidate or they can even donate money from their own budget to the candidate's campaign.
