Once people discovered the ability to smelt ore out of rocks they were able to make bronze weapons (the first type of metal used). This technological development helped them make stronger weapons and tools. The development of bronze and metal led to further developments in the area of weapon making and also tools which led to further developments and innovation that potentially led to unexpected results of innovation.
