I need help with both of these
1)     How did a highly literacy rate help draw the seperate colonies togther?

2)     What were the most likely reasons that the french and british made alliances with Native America groups in the early 1700s?

Answer :

1) The high literacy rate of the colonial people helped them learn about growing tobacco, which later became a cash crop, with the work of Mr. Rolfe and others, for export and the sustaining economic driver of Virginia and nearby colonies.

2)
The hope for gems, minerals and or treasure was most likely the reason that the French and British made alliances with Native Americans in the early 1700s. The French and British wanted to enslave them if they had to.
