In the poem "Mexicans Begin Jogging" there are a cultural critic and a close approach of how the immigrants feel and how they are perceived as alien individuals; when the subject of the poem, even being an American, run helplessly (after his boss' order ) with the other Mexicans from the "Immigration" feeling the same fear, and joy, as them when they finally manage to escape.
