a rectangular garden is 32 feet long and 24 feet wide, a gardener wants to build a fence from one corner to the oppositie corner, forming 2 traingles, find the legth of the fence. (40 feet)



a ramp is 12 feet high and 9 feet long at the base, find the legnth of the ramp (15 feet)
1) Spencer's bedroom is rectangular. The length of one wall of Spencer's bedroom is 9 feet. The length from one corner of the bedroom to the diagonally opposite corner is 15 feet. What is the length of the other wall?

2) A flying squirrel's nest is 16 meters high in a tree. From its nest, the flying squirrel glides 20 meters to reach an acorn that is on the ground.  How far is the acorn from the base of the tree?

3) From her home, Lia would have to walk due north to get to her friend Kenny's house and due east to get to her friend Sydney's house. It is 6 kilometers from Lia's house to Sydney's house and a straight-line distance of 10 kilometers from Kenny's house to Sydney's house. How far is Lia's house from Kenny's house?
