For masters on Algebra : Evaluating functions: w(n) = 4n+2;Find w(3n)
Once solved could i get a brief explanation please? I got 2 different numbers for it.

Answer :

w(3n)=12n+6
Its 3n so 3x the original one
(not sure; is it supposed to be a specific number)
[tex]w(n)=4n+2\\\\w(3n)-subtitute\ 3n\to n\\\\w(3n)=4\cdot3n+2=12n+2[/tex]
