X= -(8)+_SQUARE ROOT (8)^2-4(3)(4)/2(3)

X= -8+_SQUARE ROOT16/6 Square Root of 16 is 4

X= -8+_4/6

X=  -8+4/6= -4/6= -2/3.

X= -8-4/6= -12/6= -2.

Answer is: -2/3 and -2.
