She's 230 feet from the shore and she starts swimming towards shore at 2ft/s and covers 20 ft then Maxx starts out at 5ft/s at this point 10 seconds will have elapsed ( remember to add this on).They have now to cover 210 ft between them so the ratio will be5:2 making 210 divide by 7 = 30secs. So max will cover 150 ft and belle will cover 60 ft. So in summation for Belle to cover 60ft it would take her 30 secs plus the first 10 secs total 40 secs
