An author can convey meaning through structure of text by embedding it in the text. For example:
 I've been training for moments like these, when I whip out a false ID and rattle off these perfectly recited stories. Because reality is, the truth hurts.
  When you read that, what do you get from the text? I get that the character drowns herself in lies because she had a hard life. Now you ask yourself, how did the author reveal that through the structure of the text?
