Different organisms thrive in different biomes. The reason for this is that different organisms have different needs for survival. Climate and nutrition play the biggest part in determining if an organism will live in a biome. If the climate is unfavourable, the organism will either die or simply move to a different flora. The other option is that it could adapt to the conditions of it's current biome but this often takes a much longer time.
The climatic determines the organisms that live in a biome. There are various types of plants and species that live in different climatic conditions. They adapt themselves according to the climate present at that place. For example the plants and animals living in polar region have different adaptations as compared to the plants and animals living in the xerophytic conditions.The plants living in the polar regions are short heighted whereas the plants in the xerophytic conditions have broad stem and have cuticles leaves to avoid precipitation. The blubber of fat present in the seals and whales are used to store fat to keep their body warm whereas the reptiles dig holes and keep themselves underground to survive in hot conditions.
