how did the english king react to the colonists petition about the sugar and stamp acts

Answer :

The king at the Time was King George III and you cant exactly portray his actions of what he did. However, people in America were definitely not okay with him enforcing taxes over them on Sugar and the printing of paper. If I had to pay a tax on playing cards, id be astounded. However, there is some bibliographies saying that the colonists did not enforce the Stamp and Sugar Acts of 1764.

Parliament did repeal the Stamp Act in 1766
He did not like the colonies actions so he sent troops
