Can you punctuate the following?Peter's bedroom was dark when his mom entered. She walked towards his window and opened the curtains, letting the rays of the morning sun flood the room. "Peter!" she called out, "Wake up! Let's go get some donuts." Peter, who preferred to sleep in, groaned and reluctantly rolled out of his bed. He put on a pair of comfortable jeans and a light blue shirt and then brushed his curly brown hair. Finally, he went downstairs to the kitchen to join his mom, where the sunbeams were also shining through the window, flooding the room and reflecting off the marble countertops.

“Wow, that was fast,” Peters's mother said. “Donuts motivate me” Peter responded squinting his eyes to block the bright sun. ‘’Okay let's go get in the car.” As Peter walked toward the small white SUV just outside the garage of his small two-story house, he thought about a time when he was younger and his mother and father took him out for donuts. It was when his parents told him he was adopted which made him suspicious. Peter's mother started the car and started driving when she said “Since your father is out of town at work I thought I would take you out for donuts and something so we could bond a little” “Well I couldn't turn down donuts” Peter said with a smile.
The rest of the short ride through a town west of New York City was quiet as they approached the donut shop. They hopped out of the car and walked towards the old-fashioned dinner-like doughnut shop, with windows all in the front, between two newer buildings making it seem a little out of place. Peter opened the glass door letting his mother in. The aroma of fresh doughnuts flooded the room as Peter sat down in a red leather booth next to a window with a table between them, as his mother ordered the doughnuts.
Peter's mother sat down with the doughnuts and chocolate milk, opened the donut box, and said: “I don’t know if you remember, but this is where your father and I first told you that you were adopted.” “Yeah, I was thinking about that this morning,” Peter responded just before taking a donut. “Well, maybe we could do other stuff this week Empire State Building, shopping whatever you want. “I’d like that,” Peter responded. Then Peters's mother said“ I can’t believe you will be 15 this year it feels like just yesterday you were a baby”
“Yeah, I can’t believe it either” Once they finished eating Peter’s mother said “Alright go start the car I’ll be there in a minute,” as she handed him the keys.” Peter wiped his mouth and then got up and walked out the door. As Peter was walking out the door he noticed something move to his left, so he walked over to the corner of the donut shop and was pulled and then thrown into the grass behind the shop Peter, lying on his back, looked up to see a dark shadow figure in a black cloak, then Peter called out “The grim Reaper!?” The dark figure replied in a deep raspy and wispy voice.
“For I am not the Grim Reaper, but you will meet your fate here.” The dark figure then goes on to say “He can feel you growing stronger every day and that you need to be stopped or you will intervene with his plans.” Peter replied “Who are you and who is “he”? The shadowy figure responded “That is unimportant” as he drew his fist to smite Peter while he was still on the ground, but Peters's eyes started to glow and lightning began to circle his hands and body, and

as soon as the shadowy figures fist got close to Peter the figure turned to dust, but the dust was quickly swept up by the wind and started to circle Peter and said “ He is right you have grown too strong for me, but there are beings stronger than me and they will attack everyone around you just to get to you” Then blew away. Peter was left with the figure's words circling in his head. He was afraid that his mother, father, and family would get attacked. He was confused by his newfound powers and the shadowy figure's words.
He ran to the woods out of fear and confusion. He ran and walked for hours and hours, then finally he stopped to sit on a large stone and gather his thoughts. He was in the middle of a planted pine forest with large pine trees in perfect neet lines as far as he could see. Pine needles covered the ground and the fresh air smelled of sweet pine.

As he sat on a stone, he thought: This is crazy, I can’t survive on my own. I have no money, no food, and what will happen if I come across another monster? I don’t even know how to use these powers, but if I go back home what will happen to my family?”
