Write an online article in your own words (Approx. 250words) on an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait
Islander historical event. To assist with the creation of your article you are to access the History
timeline in your learning resources and may also conduct your own research ensuring you use
credible resources.
Include the following points in your online article:
The current date and a title
Introduction paragraph- Select a year in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander history and
identify the significant event that occurred in that year.
Middle paragraph - Report on that event including associated facts you have researched
Ending paragraph - Report on the significant effects on the culture today

Reference your sources at the bottom of your newspaper article and sign off with your name
