From the Declaration of Independence:

From the Declaration of Sentiments:
Whenever any form of government becomes destructive

refuse allegiance to it, and to insist upon the institution of
a new government, laying its foundation on such
principles, and organizing its powers in such form, as to
them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and
happiness.
Why do Jefferson and Stanton include these similar
excerpts in their documents?
