What advantages might there be to having a factory that functioned more like a plant cell than like an animal cell?

For starters, a plant cell is able to produce its own glucose through the process of photosynthesis because the plant cell has chloroplasts that take in sunlight, carbon dioxide, and water and turn it into glucose and oxygen. Then, using the glucose, the plant cell is able to break down the glucose in the mitochondria mainly and produce fuel for the cell (adenosinetriphosphate/ATP). It's like having a self sufficient factory! Ya just need light, air, and water access and the factory doesn't need to take in any material like those animal cells. Silly silly heterotrophic animal cells, plants are autotrophs.
Also, plant cell has a cell wall instead of a soft cell membrane like the animal cell does. This provides structure and added protection to the factory. Think of a plant cell factory of more like a building while and animal cell factory a big gelatinous glob (but still solid, very flexible).
The other thing that comes to mind is that plant cells have much larger vacuoles. This means the factory would be able to store lots of goods! Only for the better.

For some odd reason, I had fun writing this. Hope I helped!!
