-4(4x+4)=2(2-7x) how do u do this and you have to use WHO and check your answer by plugging it in the original equation.SHOW ALL WORK

Answer :

-4(4x+4)=2(2-7x)
Both sides can be divied by 2 to simplify it.
Making the equation-
-2(4x+4)=2-7x
The 2 from the right has gone because we divided it away.
Then expand the brackets to simplify it again.
-8x-8=2-7x
Now we add 8x to both sides in order to get rid of the -8x
-8=2-7x+8x
That can be simplified again to make
-8=2+x
To get x by itself we need to change the side of the two by changing the positive to a negative
-8-2=x otherwise know as -10=x
